Countdowns to Laundry and Other Things

I know I'm constantly starting off these posts with being shocked by the date, but I'm seriously shocked by the fact that it's Week 10. I don't think my brain is actually registering this fact.
Gosh, if I'm feeling this shocked, I can't believe how shocked all of the people graduating in two weeks feel.
Seven more classes to go. Yep.

With this countdown to the end of school, there are plenty of other countdowns I'm making as well. Countdown to this paper being due. Countdown to moving stuff out. Countdown to finals.

Speaking of the countdown to moving things, I have definitely been antsy on that subject. For all of my moving around, I've always packed up much earlier than the actual move out date itself. I know how long it takes to pack, and I like to be ready. Especially now. As soon as my mom comes on Thursday after my last final, I am dashing out that door. I don't care if I can live here until the 15th, I'm gone as soon as I can.

My parents are coming down here to help me pack up some stuff this weekend to get some stuff out of the way. When they do this, I'm probably going to go up to P-town for a bit. Mostly to help put stuff away, but there's one perk included with going to the hometown: Laundry.

I need to do laundry so bad. My laundry is disgusting. I need to do it so badly.

You may ask, why don't I simply do it here? Oh ho ho. You may not know this, but I'm a cheapskate and laundry in my building costs money. I don't like to spend money if I don't necessarily have to.

For me, I don't get a lot of my clothes super dirty. There are only two types of clothing that I really get dirty, which are exercise clothes and underwear. I still have clean underwear, but I might have to resort to the awkward pairs soon. (Like the ones that don't fit well). Perhaps this is a bit too much information. Ah well.

All I know is that when I get a house, the first thing I'm buying are a washer and a dryer.

What kind of clothes do you get dirty quickly?

  1. Ugh - work clothes and workout clothes are just ALWAYS NEEDING WASHING.

  2. My workout gear gets filthiest the fastest. Like to the point where it usually makes up ~half of my laundry.

Fun fact: In Minnesota, most of the time you'll move somewhere and the washer/dryer are already there. We don't move with our appliances like some do in other states. Figure that one out.
