Just a Few Little Things

Welp, I suppose I have a few things to talk about, so let's get started shall we?

First of all, there is an epidemic going on in the blog world. (In the blogs I read, anyway.) First there was Ashley, the very sporty blogger who got into a terrible accident on her bike. Now Kat, who was training for a marathon has been injured! It's scary seeing people who inspire you to reach for big goals get injured. It's not like they're not human, but still it feels like it shouldn't happen.
But seriously, if you're blog-savvy, you should go wish them well.

Today was the Race for the Cure, and it was quite lovely. Cold, but lovely. Truth be told, my favorite part of the race is seeing the huge crowd of people running in the street. It's just a wave of people.

It's strange to be home still, because the majority of FB statuses that I've been seeing have to do with moving in and such. Did I catch on the wave late or something? Perhaps it has to do with the fact that I've been in school all summer. Well, I'll be there by at least Wednesday.
Wait a tic... School's already that close? Goodness, I don't feel ready at all!

I know there were other things that I was going to talk about, but right now I'm completely exhausted. I think I'm going to sleep in forever tomorrow.

I hope everyone ends up having a lovely evening!

Studying Time, Absurdly Disorganized, and Menacing Children on Bikes

Let's make it quick here, because I have to go back to some more studying before bed.

First of all, if I end up gaining the freshmen fifteen, or at least any weight, it's going to be during this week. At least the beginning of the week. Strangely enough, I haven't necessarily been feeling hungry, but I know that I should eat. So I do. My hunger gauge gets loopy after a cold. However, with the attempt of running my meal money out, it's been difficult balancing things out. I could be imagining things, I dunno.

Next, I have heard the phrase, "There's always Facebook," or a variation of that far too often in the last two days. It's sad seeing everyone go, especially since I won't be around next year. I don't think the fact that I won't be seeing any of the people 'round here anytime soon has hit me quite yet. All I know is that I'm almost all alone in the dorms. I suppose it wouldn't matter right now since all that I've been doing is studying for the past few days.

The room situation can be named "absurdly disorganized" currently. I can't help it! (Well, I'm not sure how true that is.) Still, I've been studying a lot, and the biggest reason things are scattered are because I haven't had enough time to organize everything to look pretty. I have packed away more things.

I guess the one thing I did other than studying and taking a final today was go for a run. For some reason, I keep on deciding that it would be best to run when the sun is at its peak. Every time, I curse myself and think, "I'll never do this again!" But I do. However, with the way my schedule is changing up, I'll be able to run either early morning or in the evenings.
Random thing: Apparently little kids really hate runners. Twice I was running and went to one side, but instead of going on the other side the kid would aim their bike directly at me. Seriously! Kids on bikes are mean.

Back to studying for me, but hopefully everyone else will have a lovely evening!

What part of your life gets pushed to the side when it's big event time? For me, it's definitely cleaning.

Potter, Registration and Facebook

It's Friday, and I am so tired. Also, it's only 10:30.

First of all, Harry Potter was SO GOOD. Ah man, it was probably the best in my opinion. Plus, it was also the closest to the book which is nice. The evening was fun before too, including HP themed food that my aunt and grandma made all day. I consumed a large chunk of it all.

I am all registered for classes next term! ...Except my Spanish class. The teacher told me that I would be able to just do it all online, but that is not the case. I just hope that it doesn't fill up before I can get her to sign the paper! 15 spots... Can't do anything until Monday... I have to believe!

The meeting with the one act guy happened today. He pretty much just explained that it was for his class and I told him times I'm avaliable for rehearsal. The other guy didn't end up showing up. How exciting!

My 10 mile run is tomorrow. I'm always nervous about my longer runs. This time it's because I've never done my long run on a Saturday even though they're usually scheduled then. Huh. I can do it though. I've already run that far! This time though, I've mapped out a new route. I wanted to print it out, but you have to pay to print it on mapmyrun! Not interested. I'll just write it out, take a copy with me, and hope for the best. I run with my phone anyways. Let's do it!

Facebook is getting to the point where almost every aunt of mine has a page. Pretty much it's gotten to the point to where if I ever have a notification, it's an aunt saying, "HANNAH you are soooooooo cute!!1!" ...This makes me wonder what the reason for Facebook is anymore other than a spirit booster I guess? Seriously, why are they all getting Facebooks?

I better get some sleep for tomorrow's run! Night!

Do you have awkward family members on Facebook?
