Did everyone have a splendid day? Because I most certainly did!
First of all, let's start with the Royal Wedding. Weirdly enough, I woke up to go to the bathroom five minutes before my alarm was supposed to go off. My bladder has good timing I guess.
My gang and I ended up only watching about the first half hour before shuffling back to bed. Yeah, I guess we're not as hard core as some people, but honestly? I just wanted to see the dress. Personally, I would not go for the lace sleeves, but she looked lovely. And there were some crazy hats.
Getting a test back can either make your day terribly dismal or extremely cheerful. When you get two tests back in one day, those emotions can be doubled either way, or canceled out depending on opposing scores. One of the tests that was returned to me today was my Spanish test. When I originally took it, I felt pretty good about it. That confident attitude was riding with me until Profesora wrote the class scores on the board. Only one A, two Bs, three Cs, 5 Ds and 4 Fs. Those were not good odds. However, if you looked at what I wrote at the beginning of this post, you would have already realized by now that yes, I did do quite smashingly. In fact, I was the only A. Aw yeah.
My other test that I got back? History of Fashion. I was terrified, even though I thought I did alright. All the professor told us was that the scores were to the extremes on both ends. I just wanted a B. Instead... I got an A! Woohoo!
Goodness, I shouldn't be bragging about my grades but it just feels so good!
As for other things in my life, all I can say is take a look at this:
This is my last piece of Easter candy, and now it is gone. It's bittersweet really. I need to get my rear back into full gear, and having no more Easter candy helps. Still, I will miss its deliciousness.
As a last note from me, I now have a new distraction. I just found out that my dad got Netflicks, and I happened to learn his password. Instant movies and television shows? Oh dear. I just watched The Graduate, which it has been years since I've seen it. I don't understand why people love that movie so much because story wise? It's a little bit... odd. I don't know if I want to root for the main character, because his motives are a bit off-kilter.
Do you still have Easter candy?

Learning Random Facts and Psychology
Ya know those weeks that seem to just drag on forever? Well, I've felt like the week should have ended a few days ago, and it's only Tuesday. Ah well.
Having to do assignments on the computer is one of my least favorite things to do simply because I get so darn distracted. I actually like typed out assignments for the most part, but with the Internet... Goodness. With distractions, I'm always being led to new and interesting sites that I start to spend lengthy amounts of time on. My most recent addicting site? Cracked.
Cracked is filled with lists of interesting fact things, like 7 Basic Things You Won't Believe You're All Doing Wrong, or 5 Bizarre Ways Your Siblings Made You Who You Are. The site basically tells you a lot of crazy information that you would never have known before, some of which isn't very relevant to your everyday life. Pretty much the type of stuff I eat up. The one thing that I've noticed about said site is how it portrays itself. You see, it's aimed very much at the male population. I feel like this happens a lot. Another type of example is the show MANSWERS. The show once again gives you incredible, quirky information, but it's once again mainly for guys.
With this, I've got to ask: Why do they think girls don't want to know about these things too? I love knowing about terrifying creatures that could kill me without me knowing! (Might seem like a bad example, but it's actually extremely fascinating. And Rockfish are effing TERRIFYING.) I hate that because I'm the youngest child I'm less intelligent and going to die sooner, but it's still cool stuff to know!
Speaking of which, yes that is true. I've learned that my IQ is lower than my sister's IQ most likely just because I'm younger. I actually learned about this a few days prior in Psychology as well. Seriously, what a gip!
Well, I suppose there's nothing to do about having these sites aimed towards the male audience more than the female audience. I'll just have to sigh as they talk about their junk and boobs, and skip ahead to the other information about why certain actors became famous on accident.
Now it's time for finishing my Psychology homework... which I'm a little freaked out about, because I have no idea how she wants it done. She's explained it all, but I have no idea how she grades. Meh.
To the ladies out there: Do you frequent any sites that seem to be aimed more toward males? Why?

Productive Distractions
It's already Wednesday, but I'm glad. I'm ready for the weekend simply so I can get everything all put together again.
Yes, I'm a tad neurotic, I understand that. However, when I get so distracted half of my toes are normal and the other half still have paint on them, then we've got a problem.
I wish I was making that up.
Truth be told, I've been getting a lot of things done. The only problem is I'm getting some things done while other things linger overhead. Things that are more important than what's being accomplished. Do you get what I'm saying?
One of those things includes some reading that's due for tomorrow. I've started but... let's just say I've got awhile to go.
What "productive" distractions do you have? For me, I start cleaning or organizing my schedule.

Daylight Savings and Epic Meal Time
I can't believe how close finals are! I know that I've been hoping for them to get here as soon as possible, but now that they're here, I don't feel ready!
This morning clocks around the world sprung forward, making sleep schedules everywhere a little more off. I ended up waking up at 8... huh.
With waking up a couple hours earlier than expected, you would have expected me to be super productive with those two extra hours, right? ...Well, instead I ended up watching last night's SNL and Epic Meal Time videos.
Epic Meal Time is... there are no words to describe it. Here's just one of the Epic Meals:
I think I get heart palpitations from just watching it... but at least they're eating it, not me!
I've been getting so distracted today though. I'm ready for tomorrow, but not completely ready for Tuesday. My distractions of choice lately have been videos. Sometimes it's videos, other times my distraction of choice are blogs.
The computer is turning off after this! Back to writing notes!

The Computer, Motivation and Distractions
Oh Internet, why must you be filled with so many distracting things?
The biggest problem I have with assignments that involve a computer is that I have the temptation to explore the Internet. Ah well.
The most recent Internet distraction I have found? whitewhine.com. It is quite hilarious. Actually, this talk of the Internet being a distraction sounds like something that would be put on that site.
Hoo boy. Lately I've been feeling like I've been extremely unmotivated. Does this happen regularly before the end of winter term? I cannot say, but all I know is that I better get my rear in gear for these last three weeks.
Well, I suppose that's all from me for this evening.
How do you keep from getting distracted while working on the computer?

Internet Distractions, Adding Spice to Fashion, and Skinny Jeans
The Internet. What a creation, huh? Like pretty much the rest of the world, I enjoy the Internet quite a bit. However, the magical invention can have some downsides.
I have confession to make: I used to be an anime nerd. I would read manga, draw it, make ridiculous Japanese references... Yeah. With my addiction to anime, that meant I read a lot of webcomics. With the webcomics, I couldn't just start reading it from where they were in the story. I had to read all of the archives. I would become determined to finish, and very few times did I read only a few pages then move on.
I hardly even look at anime things, let alone webcomics. Of course, there are still a few I peek at from time to time, but I digress. The point leads to what my bad habit has come to today.
Blogs. Yep, I have the same, "Oh my gosh I need to read through all of the archives so I have an idea what they're talking about!" I'm not like the rest of my generation spending hours on Facebook, I spend forever blog reading.
That is what kept me from being as productive as I should have been today. Ah goodness.
In my fashion studies, I've discovered it's a lot of hard work! There are just so many different aspects to it, and trying to figure out ways to incorporate it to modern fashion is difficult! One thing I've realized through it all is that I need to add some variety to my wardrobe. I've always gone with the "If it works, stay with it" mentality. It's time to spice things up.
Speaking of staying the same with clothes, there has always been a favorite type of jeans in my heart: The skinny jeans. My favorite type of pants tend to have one problem though, and that is stretching out. After time, all skinny jeans become less "skinny", and more... something else. I was wearing a black pair of skinnies around my mom recently, and thought I looked like a hobo because they were loose. It's not size change either, because I'm the same size I've been. They just stretch!
Pretty much all of my skinny jeans are too loose now, except one. One pair is actually kind of hard to get on due to being too tight in one area. Which area, you ask?
My calves. My skinny jeans have a hard time getting past my calves. You can see my muscles through the pants!
That's not the reason I run, but it feels like a pretty awesome reason to run anyway.
This evening, I have played Hide and Seek in the campus library and watched some Improv comedy. Next I'm off to see a movie at midnight! I'm watching The King's Speech. Yes!
What distracts you on the Internet?

Finishing Finals and Anticipation
This week seems to be a mix of feeling really fast and really slow. Sometimes I think, "Wow, it's only Tuesday" and "Wow, it's already Tuesday evening!"
I have completed yet another final! One more, then all done! Woohoo! My final was for English, and I think I did alright. There were two questions where I was wondering what's up, but I believe it went well. We also got our essays back. My score? Once again, a B. Dr. Kagawa, shall I ever be able to reach your expectations? Curses! Well, I suppose it's not too bad, but I wish I would have gotten an A.
I ventured over to Waremart to get some supplies for gifts. Tomorrow after my final I will commence in creating said gifts. I'm super excited!
While creating a note sheet for my final tomorrow, I have been extremely distracted. I suppose it's from having the knowledge that winter break is almost here and tomorrow is the last final. The final tomorrow is for History, and I know that I know the material. It's being able to write so much about it that's getting to me. I'm worried because I don't write very quickly and there's a lot to be done. Let's just look at it positively!
I've refrained myself from watching Glee tonight, because I know I need to be all in for tomorrow's final, and Glee does not help me be all in. After 10 I can watch it. (I really want to watch it though. It's the Christmas episode!)

Fat Squirrels and Apples to Apples
The squrriels are getting chubby around campus. This is probably because they're storing up some fat for winter, but I could be making this up. Either way, I find this hilarious. Chubby animals simply make me grin, I suppose.
Can I just say Apples to Apples is one of the greatest games ever? I learned about it just last year and have been laughed through games ever since. It is necessary that I obtain my own box.
One act practice... was not feeling positive on myself. May have also been due to the fact I needed food. I simply need to slap myself in the face!
I must start writing these entries out without distractions... Goodness!
What games do you love to play?
